Cooper Coated Coils introduced the market to Easycleans in the 1980’s. It was brought in as an entry level coated product to replace raw tinplate and helped develop the market for pre-coated materials.

The basis of an Easyclean is the Epoxy resin. It cures at a lower temperature than Hi-cure non-sticks which is based on a PES resin. The addition of PTFE gives the product its cleanability.

The lower cure means that more colour options are available in Easycleans than Hi-cure systems. From bright reds to pastel greens and traditional pewter greys to printed blues and yellows, the choice is great and the colour stability is excellent.
